My name is Mervi Holopainen and I live in eastern Finland with my family.
I have lived with dogs since I was born. My father loved and had german shepherds and I had one after teenage years. We were almost allways training something. Later when I had family and we moved to the countryside - we had caucasian ovcharkas to guard our property, but they didn’t do their work as it should be done. We saw first sarplaninac in dogshow 1999 and there it was - our new breed. First one came from Italy and later one from Serbia and two from Macedonia.
2004 our first westie “Tytti” came to our family. She has been absolutely healthy and playfull female with harsh coat and big ego. She had her first litter on 2006.
I have imported female from Netherlands kennel Dashing Devil’s [link], and male from Slovakia kennel Sunshine Celebration [link].
On the spring 2009 rottweiler came to our family from Serbia. He needed love and training, so we started obedience and tracking and of course some resting on the living room's carpet.
I have educated myself with following courses: breeders course 2004, breeders advanced course 2005 and breeding counsellors course 2009. I got kennelname on 2004. I also made breeding commitment to Finnish Kennel Club on 2004. I’m qualified temperament test stewart (2007). And the last course was breeding counsellors advanced course on the spring 2010.
I am a member of the following associations:
